A prompt is production configuration. It decides what your system says to customers, and it can be changed by anyone with edit access and a good idea on a Friday.
So we treat it the way we treat a migration. Changes land as diffs, run against a regression set, and ship behind the same gates as the code that calls them.
This is unglamorous and it is the single highest-return practice we bring to an engagement.
